As an engineer by training as well as a biologist with an insatiable curiosity about our marine environment and how environmental changes are affecting it, I have designed, built, tested and deployed in the field many breakthrough biologging devices since 2016.

The fantastic project I carried out as part of my PhD at the Sea Mammal Research Unit (SMRU, Univ St Andrews, UK) with Mark Johnson and Peter Tyack made me dive into the exciting field of tag design and manufacturing as well as in-depth data analysis and interpretation. Sonar, bioluminescence, hydrophone, GPS, accelerometer, magnetometer are all sensors that I have integrated into different tags.

With WildTag Solutions, I proudly supply innovative tag solutions to researchers and NGOs worldwide. However, beyond manufacturing breakthrough devices to help researchers worldwide investigate new and exciting research questions, I take a particular care in ensuring the devices I supply create minimal impact and stress on the equipped animals by carefully designing compact and hydrodynamically shaped devices compatible with non-invasive attachment methods.
